Walled In

Fenced off from the normies

Tiny cell, just bricks and light

Bright light

The kind that incinerates your retinas

pushes your sight

Bricks start off, pulling from the wall

Space is closing in

Time is sluggish

The guard checks every so often

I’m lying on a thin mattress

Wool blanket and still chilly

Yes guard, I’m alive

But I’m lost in my head
